Brief
A twelve-part editorial series pairing archival photography with new documentary interviews. Designed to be republished, not scrolled past.
Approach
Each installment paired a historical moment with a contemporary perspective - owners, engineers, and drivers who lived the era. The editorial system was built to be modular: each piece works independently but compounds as a series.
Process
Six months of research, archival licensing, and interview scheduling. Photography mixed studio precision with location authenticity. The typographic system borrowed from motorsport programme design - dense, structured, and built to carry long-form text without fatigue.
Result
The series became the specialist's most-shared editorial content. Three installments were picked up by regional automotive press. Average read time exceeded four minutes across all twelve pieces.
